Geospatial Conference in Tunis
GCT2015, May 12 – 14, 2015
Dear GCT exhibitors and valued guests,
It is time to announce the next GCT conference to be held in May 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Tunis.
The GCT geospatial conferences and exhibitions keep evolving and will be hosted by the African Geospatial Sciences Institute (AGSI), a non-profit NGO from 2015 onwards.
The AGSI is formally registered in Tunisia since July 2014. It will be starting in Autumn 2014 with the first geospatial courses, focusing on practical, hands-on trainings, from surveying to UAS imaging, satellite and aerial image processing, surface model extraction to GIS field data capture for GIS, analysis and cartographic output generation.
As the organizers of the GCT conferences in 2012, 2013 and in March 2014, 3G has also been instrumental in setting up the AGSI to find more and better ways to bridge the
geospatial knowledge and technology gap between Europe and neighboring North Africa.
To bring together geospatial companies with private companies and government users from the North African region is now a task that the AGSI-Tunisia together with the European AGSI e.V. will manage.
